In these general terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
: StrongerMe BV, with registered office at [address], registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number BE 0768.659.969.
: the natural person who has entered into a membership agreement with the Club.
: the annual contract granting the Member access to the fitness facilities and participation in group classes according to the selected formula.
: a class offered by the Club under the supervision of an instructor, according to a pre-published schedule.
: the physical location of the Club where the Member exercises their membership.
2.1 These terms apply to every membership agreement between the Club and the Member, as well as to every visit to the Facility.
2.2 By signing the membership agreement, making the first payment, or visiting for the first time, the Member confirms having read and fully accepted these terms.
2.3 Deviations are only valid if agreed upon in writing.
2.4 The Club reserves the right to amend these terms. Changes will be communicated at least thirty (30) days in advance via email or announcement in the Facility. If the Member does not accept the changes, they may terminate the agreement free of charge before the effective date.
3.1 Membership is entered into for a fixed term of twelve (12) months starting from the effective date stated in the agreement.
3.2 The Member must be at least 18 years old. Minors from 16 years old may join with written parental or legal guardian consent, who remains jointly liable.
3.3 The Member confirms being in good health and having no medical conditions preventing participation. If in doubt, consulting a doctor is recommended.
3.4 Membership is strictly personal and non-transferable without prior written consent.
4.1 After the initial 12-month period, membership is automatically renewed for an indefinite duration unless terminated in time.
4.2 After renewal, the Member may terminate at any time free of charge with a notice period of maximum two (2) months (in accordance with Belgian law).
4.3 Termination at the end of the initial period must be done in writing at least one (1) month in advance.
4.4 The Club will inform the Member between three (3) and six (6) months before renewal.
4.5 Early termination without penalty is allowed for long-term medical reasons (with medical certificate). Remaining fees are refunded pro rata.
4.6 Early termination is also allowed if the Member moves more than 15 km away (with proof of address change).
5.1 If concluded online or outside the Club, the Member has a 14-day withdrawal right from signing.
5.2 If services start before the withdrawal period ends, a proportional fee is due upon cancellation.
5.3 Withdrawal must be communicated clearly via registered letter or email.
6.1 Fees are as stated in the agreement and valid for the initial term.
6.2 Payment can be made in full or via monthly SEPA direct debit.
6.3 Insufficient funds may result in a €15 administrative fee per failed payment.
6.4 Late payments incur legal interest and compensation in accordance with Belgian law.
6.5 A free first reminder will be sent; penalties apply only after 14 days.
6.6 Continued non-payment may result in suspension of access.
6.7 Fees may be indexed annually based on the health index (with 30 days’ notice).
7.1 Membership may be suspended due to illness, injury, pregnancy, or long absence (with proof).
7.2 Suspension duration: minimum 1 month, maximum 6 months per year. Contract duration is extended accordingly.
7.3 Requests must be submitted in writing and confirmed by the Club.
8.1 Access requires a personal membership card or code; sharing is prohibited.
8.2 Replacement card costs €10.
8.3 Opening hours and schedules may change with reasonable notice.
8.4 Limited closures (max. 15 days/year) do not entitle refunds or extensions.
9.1 Participation requires prior booking.
9.2 Booking opens [e.g., 7 days / 48 hours] in advance with a maximum number of active bookings.
9.3 Cancellation is free until [e.g., 2–4 hours before]; otherwise considered a no-show.
9.4 No-shows may incur a fee or temporary booking restriction.
9.5 Members should arrive at least [e.g., 5 minutes] early; late entry may be refused.
9.6 Classes may be cancelled due to low attendance, illness, or force majeure.
10.1 Members must follow all house rules.
10.2 Appropriate clean sportswear and indoor shoes are required.
10.3 Towels are mandatory on equipment.
10.4 Equipment must be returned after use.
10.5 Smoking, alcohol, drugs, or doping are prohibited.
10.6 Aggression, discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination without refund.
10.7 Photos/videos require consent.
10.8 Lockers are available; the Club is not liable for theft or damage except in cases of fraud or intent.
10.9 Staff instructions must be followed.
11.1 Participation is at the Member’s own risk.
11.2 Members must assess their own physical condition; medical consultation is recommended if needed.
11.3 Injuries or conditions must be communicated before class.
11.4 The Club is only liable for direct damage caused by its fault, limited to insurance coverage or membership fees paid in the past 12 months.
11.5 The Club is not liable for indirect damages.
11.6 Liability limits do not apply in cases of fraud, intent, or serious fault, or for physical injury caused by the Club.
11.7 Members are liable for damage they cause.
11.8 The Club has liability insurance; personal insurance is recommended.
12.1 Data is processed in accordance with GDPR and Belgian law.
12.2 Data is used for membership management, billing, communication, and legal obligations.
12.3 Members have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, transfer, and object to data processing, and to file complaints.

12.5 Camera surveillance, if present, complies with Belgian law.
13.1 The Club is not liable for failure due to force majeure (e.g., fire, natural disasters, pandemics, government decisions, strikes, technical failures).
13.2 If closure exceeds 30 days, membership is extended or partially refunded.
14.1 Complaints must be submitted in writing within a reasonable time; response within 14 days.
14.2 Disputes can be submitted to the Consumer Ombudsman Service or EU ODR platform.
If any provision is invalid, the rest remains valid. The invalid provision will be replaced with one that best reflects the original intent.
16.1 Belgian law applies.
16.2 Disputes fall under the courts of the judicial district where the Club is located, without prejudice to mandatory legal provisions.
